We are currently seeking a passionate and highly skilled Systems Assurance Engineer to join our award-winning Rail and Transit team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a critical role in the planning and delivery of major rail projects that will shape the future of mobility in Malaysia and the broader APAC region. You will be part of a global network of experts, working on some of the most exciting infrastructure programs in the world.
In this visible and high-impact role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of complex rail systems. You will lead RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) activities throughout the project lifecycle, manage system assurance cases and safety cases, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders. Your ability to navigate complex technical challenges and communicate effectively will be key to your success. You will apply your deep knowledge of international standards such as EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129 to drive excellence in system assurance, directly contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of transport solutions that connect and improve communities across the region.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive system assurance cases, safety cases, and technical reports for rail systems.
- Conduct hazard identification (HAZID/HAZOP), risk assessments, and safety analyses to mitigate system risks.
- Perform detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses including FMEA, FTA, and QRA.
- Develop and review system requirements, architectures, and designs to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Liaise directly with clients, certification bodies, suppliers, and subcontractors to align on assurance milestones.
- Drive continuous improvement of assurance processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Significant experience in systems assurance, RAMS, or safety engineering, specifically within the rail and transit industry.
- Deep understanding of international safety standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, IEC 61508).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartership is highly desirable.
- Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, SysML).
