We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our client's dynamic IT infrastructure team in Petaling Jaya. In this 1-year contract role, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical enterprise environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with deep expertise in virtualization and storage hardware to work with cutting-edge technologies including Nutanix, VMware, and HPE platforms.
You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our core systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who excels in fast-paced environments and is passionate about infrastructure automation and modern data center operations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and maintain enterprise virtualization environments (VMware ESXi/vCenter).
- Administer and support Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) clusters.
- Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including HPE server and storage array configuration and troubleshooting.
- Implement system patches, firmware updates, and security hardening protocols.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks to ensure maximum uptime.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital transformation and system migration projects.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Infrastructure Operations.
- Proven expertise in managing VMware virtualization stacks and HPE hardware ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI technologies.
- Strong knowledge of storage area networking (SAN) and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., VCP, Nutanix Certified Professional) are highly advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract-based environment with minimal supervision.
