- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and learning abilities
- Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that accommodates various learning styles and abilities
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic and social growth
- Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other educational professionals to create a comprehensive support system for students
- Manage classroom behavior using evidence-based strategies and positive reinforcement techniques
- Prepare and maintain accurate student records, including progress reports and documentation of accommodations
- Participate in professional development workshops to stay updated on best practices in special education
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding among all students
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education from a recognized institution
- Teaching certification or license with specialization in special education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with special needs
- Strong knowledge of various disabilities and their impact on learning
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with students with special needs
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
