Heart Troops is looking for a passionate Technical Designer to join our growing team in Tebet, Jakarta. In this role, you will act as the crucial bridge between our conceptual design team and our production units, ensuring that every piece we create is not only visually stunning but also technically sound and ready for high-quality execution.
As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for defining product specifications, overseeing garment/product fitting sessions, and coordinating with manufacturers to maintain our standard of excellence. You will play a pivotal role in translating design sketches into reality, troubleshooting production challenges, and refining technical packages to optimize quality and reduce lead times. Tanggung Jawab
- Translate creative design concepts into detailed technical specifications and construction packs.
- Conduct and manage product fitting sessions, providing clear feedback for adjustments and sample iterations.
- Collaborate closely with design and production teams to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including size charts, bill of materials (BOM), and grading rules.
- Proactively troubleshoot production issues by providing technical solutions and alternative construction methods.
- Coordinate with vendors and factories to clarify specifications and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and improve the fit and construction standards of all product categories.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and construction techniques to enhance product quality.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in technical design, product development, or pattern making.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, CLO3D, or Gerber/Lectra.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and fitting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cost-efficient manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Indonesian, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between creative vision and technical feasibility.
