We are a premier architectural metalworks and construction contractor based in Singapore's West Region. We specialize in bespoke aluminum, steel, structural glazing, and architectural façade solutions for landmark commercial and residential projects.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Drafter to join our dynamic Design & Engineering team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design intent and site execution by producing precise shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and 3D BIM models using REVIT, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation for aluminum, steel, and architectural works.
- Develop and manage 3D BIM models (REVIT) and parametric solid models (SolidWorks) for complex structures.
- Coordinate extensively with project engineers, architects, and site supervisors to resolve design clashes and optimize constructability.
- Maintain strict drawing registers, revision controls, and submit documents according to project schedules.
- Conduct detailed technical reviews ensuring compliance with BCA regulations, project specifications, and ISO standards.
- Assist in material take-offs, shop floor support, and site inspection walkthroughs.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Drafting.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in architectural metal works, structural steel, or façade drafting.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT (BIM environment), and SolidWorks (3D modeling).
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, construction methodologies, and material properties (aluminum/steel).
- Ability to interpret complex architectural and structural engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with curtain walling, cladding, skylights, or bespoke metal fabrication is a strong advantage.
