We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Engineer (Printer/Copier) to join our growing IT team in the East Region. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our organization's document management systems run smoothly. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of printer and copier hardware, from installation and configuration to complex troubleshooting and maintenance.
As a Technical Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in AWS and VB to integrate our devices into broader cloud-based workflows. You will act as a technical lead for local hardware issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance for all departments. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional to specialize in both hardware engineering and software integration.
Tanggung Jawab
- Install, configure, and maintain a diverse fleet of printers, copiers, and multifunction devices (MFDs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware malfunctions, paper jams, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Utilize Visual Basic (VB) scripting and automation tools to streamline device management processes.
- Manage cloud integration and scanning workflows using AWS services for secure document storage.
- Perform regular firmware updates and preventive maintenance to ensure device longevity.
- Provide first-level technical support and training to internal staff regarding device usage.
- Coordinate with external vendors for warranty repairs and service upgrades.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in printer/copier maintenance or technical engineering.
- Proficiency in Visual Basic (VB) or similar scripting languages for device automation.
- Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and IP addressing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driving license is an added advantage for regional travel within East Region.
