Fonterra is a global leader in dairy nutrition, and we are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Technical Manager for our Foodservice division in Southeast Asia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering and embedding local innovation while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across our production networks. You will act as a bridge between technical engineering and commercial goals, ensuring our products meet the rigorous demands of the foodservice industry.
As a Technical Manager, you will lead a team of technical experts, driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing processing capabilities. Your expertise in food processing and engineering will be critical in solving complex technical challenges and implementing scalable solutions. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead Technical Operations: Oversee the technical performance of food processing plants in the SEA region, ensuring alignment with Fonterra's global standards.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP standards.
- Innovation Implementation: Drive the delivery and embedding of local product and process innovations to enhance market competitiveness.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement engineering solutions to improve plant efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production yields.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, sales, and regulatory affairs, to resolve technical issues.
- Crisis Management: Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis for any product or process deviations or quality incidents.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in food manufacturing or processing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in food processing machinery, equipment maintenance, and process engineering.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and local regulatory requirements in Malaysia and the SEA region.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage budgets, and drive project delivery.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems effectively.
