Surechem Sdn Bhd is seeking a visionary Technical Manager specializing in Instrumentation & IoT to lead our engineering department and serve as the central technical authority for our regional operations. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise to drive innovation, optimize industrial processes, and ensure operational excellence across our facilities. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the engineering department, providing technical oversight for instrumentation and IoT systems
- Develop strategic roadmaps for implementing industrial automation and IoT solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical projects with business objectives
- Mentor and develop engineering talent through training programs and performance management
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analysis for new technical initiatives
- Stay current with emerging technologies in instrumentation, automation, and IoT
- Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for engineering projects
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering management, with 3+ years in instrumentation/IoT
- Proven expertise in industrial control systems, SCADA, and sensor technologies
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams of 5+ members
- Deep understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, Modbus, OPC UA) and cloud platforms
- Certification in project management (PMP/PRINCE2) or industrial automation preferred
- Experience in chemical manufacturing or process industries highly valued
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with technical troubleshooting skills
