Meranti Power is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Officer (Control & Instrumentation) to join our elite engineering team. Based at our critical power generation facilities on Jurong Island and Bukom, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, reliability, and precision of our instrumentation and control systems.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA.
- Conduct precise calibration of field instruments to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical faults in turbines, generators, and associated plant auxiliary systems.
- Supervise and support commissioning activities for new instrumentation and control upgrades.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including maintenance logs, instrument calibration certificates, and system reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement system enhancements and efficiency improvements.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) protocols and company safety standards in a high-hazard environment.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering (or equivalent technical certification).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in C&I maintenance within power plants, oil & gas, or heavy industrial facilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID diagrams, loop diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial control systems, transmitters, sensors, and actuators.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and calibration equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Willingness to perform shift work or respond to emergency call-outs as required by the operational nature of power generation.
