Technical Officer (Mechanical Background) - Contract Opportunity in Tengah

As a Technical Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of mechanical equipment. Your duties will include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting the installation of new machinery. You will collaborate with a skilled team to optimize operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
The ideal candidate possesses a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar capacity. You should have comprehensive knowledge of mechanical components such as pumps, motors, compressors, and conveyors. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and using diagnostic tools is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication are key attributes we seek.
We offer a competitive salary package ranging from $2,200 to $3,000 per month, reflective of your experience and qualifications. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to ensure minimal operational disruption.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment logs, and inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and procurement of parts.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and other departments.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical officer, maintenance, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumps, motors, and conveyors.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
