Are you passionate about shaping the future of smart energy infrastructure? SP Group is looking for a dedicated Technical Officer (OT Communications) to join our high-impact team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the lifecycle management of our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and mission-critical Radio-Communications networks.
As we continue to drive digital transformation in the energy sector, your work will ensure that our network remains robust, secure, and ready for the demands of a modern smart grid. You will work at the intersection of OT engineering and communications, providing essential support for projects, operations, and maintenance (O&M) that power Singapore.
Tanggung Jawab
- Execute the deployment, expansion, and renewal projects for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for radio-communication systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely project delivery and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor network performance metrics and generate technical reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct site surveys and field inspections to evaluate operational status and infrastructure integrity.
- Support the integration of new communication modules into existing OT environments.
- Provide technical support for incident resolution, ensuring swift restoration of service during network outages.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in OT communications, AMI, or field engineering operations is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of radio frequency (RF) systems and communication network protocols.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers and power meters.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in a field environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive mindset toward continuous learning and technical improvement.
