Join ByteDance's infrastructure team as a Technical Operations Engineer, Edge Services, where you'll play a critical role in managing our global network of Points of Presence (POPs). You'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our edge services, including traffic acceleration, CDN caching, and gaming infrastructure.

- Manage and maintain a global network of Points of Presence (POPs) hosting edge services
- Monitor and optimize traffic acceleration, CDN caching, and gaming infrastructure performance
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable infrastructure
- Ensure high availability and reliability of edge services through proactive monitoring
- Implement security measures to protect edge infrastructure and data
- Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in edge computing
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical operations, network engineering, or infrastructure management
- Strong knowledge of CDN technologies, traffic acceleration, and edge computing
- Experience with monitoring tools and systems for distributed infrastructure
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
