We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Proposal Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. As a key player in the transport and logistics sector, you will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation of technical proposals and tender documents for critical marine and port structure projects. Your expertise will ensure that our bids are technically robust, commercially competitive, and fully compliant with industry standards.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers to conduct structural analysis, review design specifications, and develop innovative technical solutions. You will act as the primary technical liaison during the bidding process, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all documentation. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality technical proposals for port and wharf structure projects.
- Conduct detailed structural analysis and design reviews to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with codes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical requirements with project objectives and client expectations.
- Ensure all bid documentation adheres to local engineering codes, safety standards, and specific client specifications.
- Develop technical narratives, calculations, and supporting data to support commercial bid strategies.
- Manage the technical documentation timeline and ensure the timely delivery of proposal packages.
- Review and refine technical drawings and engineering reports for accuracy.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Marine Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical proposal engineering specifically within the marine or port sector.
- Strong proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or similar structural analysis tools.
- In-depth knowledge of marine engineering principles, port infrastructure, and load calculations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex tender requirements.
