Our client, a reputable player in the maritime sector, is actively searching for a dedicated Technical Superintendent to join their team in Tondo, Metro Manila. Your Impact: As a Technical Superintendent, you will be the linchpin between the office and the fleet. You will be responsible for the budget, planning, and execution of all technical aspects of the vessels under your command. Your proactive approach to identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions will be crucial. From overseeing repairs and maintenance schedules to managing spares and lubricants, your technical acumen will ensure cost-effective and safe operations. You will routinely conduct inspections (FSC, PSC, vetting) and ensure full compliance with the ISM, ISPS, and MLC codes.
In this capacity, you will conduct quarterly visits to assigned vessels, leading comprehensive meetings with the crew regarding vessel defects and developing robust action plans to correct them. Ensuring all planned maintenance systems are followed and that vessels are in a state of operational readiness is a primary objective.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct quarterly technical visits to assigned vessels to inspect machinery, hull, and equipment.
- Lead meetings with vessel crews to discuss operational defects, analyze root causes, and develop effective corrective action plans.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) to ensure optimal asset reliability.
- Manage vessel budgets, including repairs, spares inventory, stores, and lubricants, to achieve cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate and supervise dry-docking, repairs, and special surveys, ensuring minimal operational downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW) and company safety policies (ISM Code).
- Prepare detailed technical reports and performance analyses for management review.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the Chief Engineer and Engine Department to enhance operational performance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
- Valid COC (Certificate of Competency) as Chief Engineer (Unlimited) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sailing experience, with at least 2 years as Chief Engineer on various vessel types.
- Proven experience in a Technical Superintendent or equivalent shoreside management role is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of CLASS rules, statutory regulations, and flag state requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maritime maintenance software (e.g., AMOS, DNV GL).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for vessel visits.
