PT Habco Primatama is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a marine professional to take the lead in managing the technical performance of our fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring that all vessels operate at optimal efficiency while strictly adhering to international maritime regulations and safety standards. As a key member of our operations team, you will drive excellence in maintenance, safety, and operational compliance, ensuring that our maritime activities run smoothly and securely.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the technical performance and operational integrity of all vessels under the company's management.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations (IMO), class society rules, and company policies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with shore-based engineering teams and shipboard personnel to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety management systems (SMS) and environmental protection protocols.
- Manage technical budgets and oversee the procurement of spare parts and materials necessary for repairs.
- Report technical status to management and stakeholders, providing clear analysis of vessel performance and required actions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Technical Superintendent or Marine Engineer role within the shipping or maritime industry.
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of shipboard systems, including propulsion, electrical, and navigational equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare technical reports.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands and schedules.
