Join our maritime operations team as a Technical Superintendent (Dredger) and play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational excellence of our dredging fleet. This hands-on position requires you to conduct comprehensive quarterly inspections of assigned vessels, identifying technical defects and implementing corrective action plans. You'll lead critical meetings with vessel crews to address maintenance priorities, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure compliance with international maritime safety standards. Your expertise will directly impact vessel uptime, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement among technical teams. Collaborate closely with engineering departments to optimize maintenance schedules, manage spare part inventories, and oversee major repair projects. This role demands strong leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver actionable insights that enhance fleet performance and reduce operational risks.

- Conduct quarterly technical inspections of dredging vessels to assess operational conditions and identify defects
- Lead crew meetings to develop corrective action plans for identified mechanical and structural issues
- Oversee maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment replacements to ensure vessel seaworthiness
- Monitor compliance with maritime safety regulations and environmental protection standards
- Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems and implement preventive measures
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and performance recommendations for senior management
- Manage vendor relationships for specialized repair services and spare parts procurement
- Train crew members on technical best practices and emergency response procedures
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in vessel maintenance, preferably with dredging equipment
- Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems, dredging machinery, and hydraulic systems
- Certification in marine safety management systems (e.g., ISM Code, ISPS Code)
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage vessel operations in challenging environments
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisive technical decisions
- Valid seafarer certification and familiarity with STCW requirements
