We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer (Infrastructure & Architecture) to join our dynamic team in the heart of Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our core IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for troubleshooting complex technical issues within a multifaceted environment comprising on-premise data centers, virtualized systems, and cloud platforms. You will collaborate closely with our Architecture team to drive continuous improvement, implement cutting-edge solutions, and maintain the highest standards of system resilience.
As a key member of our technical support team, you will manage critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to strategic infrastructure projects. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional technical support.
You will work extensively with technologies such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows Server, Linux, AWS, Azure, and enterprise-grade networking equipment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Provide comprehensive L2/L3 technical support for all infrastructure-related incidents and service requests, ensuring SLA adherence and minimizing downtime.
- Proactively monitor the health, performance, and capacity of servers, networks, and storage systems across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Administer and optimize virtualized environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V, managing virtual machines, clusters, and resource pools.
- Troubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet), and VPN connectivity.
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure roles on AWS and Azure (IaaS, PaaS), including security groups, VPCs, and cost optimization.
- Perform system patching, upgrades, and backup/recovery operations to ensure security and data integrity.
- Contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, runbooks, and network diagrams for the knowledge base.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an IT Infrastructure or Technical Support role, preferably in a large-scale environment.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Solid experience with Linux server administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, VDI, or Hyper-V) and storage concepts (SAN, NAS).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching, Firewalls) and relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA) are highly valued.
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a mandatory requirement for this role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
