SBS Transit is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Technician (DTL Signalling) to join our dedicated team at the Downtown Line (DTL). In this mission-critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and peak performance of our signalling systems and platform screen doors.
As part of our technical team, you will perform essential shift-based maintenance and inspections to keep commuters moving safely across the island. Tanggung Jawab
- Execute daily preventive and corrective maintenance on DTL signalling systems.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of platform screen door (PSD) mechanisms to ensure flawless operation.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and critical signalling components to ensure operational readiness.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and technical incidents in accordance with safety standards.
- Support engineering teams during system upgrades, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Monitor system alarms and respond promptly to fault alerts during shift hours.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) protocols and procedures.
Kualifikasi
- NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in railway, industrial automation, or similar technical environments.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for technical detail.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Good team player with strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
- Physical ability to perform field maintenance tasks in varied environments.
