We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Technician to join our maintenance team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operation, ensuring that lift and escalator systems across our sites remain safe, efficient, and operational for all users.
You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to both preventative maintenance and emergency repair protocols. We are looking for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for mechanical troubleshooting, and a commitment to strict safety standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on lifts and escalators to ensure peak performance.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls and perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical components, including controllers, motors, and safety systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service reports for all assigned equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical issues and malfunctions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to industry safety regulations and organizational protocols.
- Assist in the installation or replacement of worn-out parts as required.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM/Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in the maintenance and repair of lifts, escalators, or similar electromechanical systems is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Possess a valid motorcycle license and personal transport for site mobility.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in various site environments, including shafts and pits.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated technical team.
