VDL ETG is currently seeking a dedicated Technician (Precision Fitting) to join our expert production team at our Joo Koon facility. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and high-precision assembly of components used in advanced technology sectors.
As a Precision Fitting Technician, you will operate within a controlled cleanroom environment, performing intricate mechanical installations including pins, inserts, and specialized tubing. We are looking for individuals who pride themselves on quality, accuracy, and adherence to rigorous safety and cleanliness standards. This position offers a 1-year renewable contract, providing a stable opportunity to develop specialized technical skills within a world-class engineering organization.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform precision installation of mechanical fittings, including pins, inserts, and tubing systems.
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly specifications accurately.
- Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and contamination control procedures.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure components meet high-precision engineering tolerances.
- Use hand and power tools effectively to assemble complex mechanical modules.
- Document production output and report any non-conformities to the production supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with company HSE standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production timelines and quality targets.
Kualifikasi
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Mechanical, Precision, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a precision assembly or cleanroom environment.
- Proven ability to interpret technical blueprints and mechanical schematics.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for handling small-scale precision parts.
- Familiarity with cleanroom attire and contamination-sensitive manufacturing processes.
- Good command of English to understand technical documentation and safety briefings.
- Ability to commit to a 1-year renewable contract and flexible working arrangements.
- A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
