In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our operations, responsible for the overall maintenance and smooth operation of all building facilities, utilities, and support systems. Your expertise in managing HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems will be paramount in ensuring a safe, efficient, and optimal environment for our advanced photonics manufacturing processes. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, coordinate with external contractors and vendors, and champion a culture of proactive maintenance, continuous improvement, and strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
As a key member of our Engineering team, you will develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot complex facility issues, manage utility consumption, and spearhead initiatives for energy efficiency and cost reduction. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the facility maintenance team and external contractors.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Compressed Air, and Cleanroom environments.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot facility system failures and implement effective corrective actions promptly.
- Monitor and optimize utility consumption (water, electricity, gas) to support cost reduction and sustainability goals.
- Ensure full compliance with all local regulations, safety standards (OSHA, DOSH), and company policies (ISO 9001, 14001).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of maintenance records, equipment logs, and inspection reports.
- Lead or participate in the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new facility equipment and system upgrades.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in facility management, maintenance engineering, or a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with HVAC systems, cleanroom maintenance, UPS, generators, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- In-depth knowledge of relevant local regulations and safety standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or relevant professional body is an added advantage.
