The Opportunity
We are currently hiring a Technician / Technical Officer to be based at our power generation facility in Jurong East. In this critical frontline role, you will report directly to the Shift Charge Engineer and be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Plant. You will conduct plant inspections, perform switching operations, manage plant startups and shutdowns, and respond effectively to any process abnormalities or emergency situations.

Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and monitor the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant safely, efficiently, and reliably in accordance with established operational guidelines.
- Perform regular plant inspections, monitor key performance indicators, and log operational data accurately.
- Conduct plant startup, shutdown, and routine switching operations following strict safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose operational issues, taking prompt corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure output targets are met.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians for the safe isolation and de-isolation of plant equipment for scheduled maintenance.
- Maintain comprehensive shift logs, incident reports, and handover communications to ensure seamless shift transitions.
- Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and safe work procedures.
Kualifikasi
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a power plant, refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environment. Candidates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
- Possession of a Singapore Boiler Attendant Certificate (BA) or Steam Engineer Certificate is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule (12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards.
