Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for logistics and maritime safety? Recruit Express is seeking a Temp Executive, Dangerous Goods Management for an exciting 6-month contract opportunity in the Central Region. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance and safety protocols are met in the handling, storage, and transport of hazardous materials.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage documentation, perform risk assessments, and ensure adherence to international maritime and dangerous goods regulations. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in Maritime Studies or logistics who are eager to gain hands-on experience in high-stakes regulatory environments. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate the logistical flow of dangerous goods in compliance with IMDG code and local regulations.
- Review and verify shipping documents, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), and dangerous goods declarations.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and storage facilities to ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Act as a liaison between external logistics partners, warehouse operations, and internal stakeholders.
- Support the team in preparing regulatory reports and maintaining accurate records for compliance checks.
- Participate in risk mitigation planning and emergency response preparation for hazardous material incidents.
- Assist in streamlining operational workflows to enhance efficiency in goods movement.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or dangerous goods management.
- Strong working knowledge of IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods) code and relevant safety regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle critical documentation accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of relevant DG certification (e.g., IATA DGR or IMDG training) is a significant advantage.
