Tanggung Jawab
- Assist registered pharmacists in the preparation, packing, and dispensing of medications to inpatients and outpatients.
- Manage pharmacy inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and checking expiry dates of pharmaceuticals.
- Operate pharmacy automation systems and maintain accurate patient medication profiles in the system.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing patient queries and directing them to the pharmacists when necessary.
- Compile and maintain records of drug usage, patient charges, and inventory data.
- Ensure the pharmacy work area is clean, organized, and complies with safety and regulatory standards.
- Support the pharmacy team with purchasing, billing, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Pharmaceutical Science or a relevant Life Sciences discipline.
- Prior working experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle medications with precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer literacy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Possess a positive learning attitude and willingness to be trained on-the-job.
- Valid registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC) is a plus.
