We are seeking a skilled Test Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this critical role, you will design, implement, and maintain advanced test systems to ensure product quality and reliability. You will train and coach maintenance teams to effectively diagnose and resolve test system breakdowns, driving high First Pass Yield (FPY) rates and minimizing defects. Your expertise will be vital in developing automated testing solutions, optimizing test procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of failures, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve testing methodologies. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and implement automated test systems and procedures for product validation
- Train and mentor maintenance teams on effective troubleshooting of test equipment failures
- Monitor and optimize test systems to achieve high First Pass Yield (FPY) targets
- Document test procedures, results, and maintenance protocols for knowledge transfer
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Conduct root cause analysis of test system failures and implement preventive measures
- Ensure test equipment calibration and compliance with industry standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in test development and maintenance engineering
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies, quality control processes, and FPY metrics
- Experience in training technical teams on equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in test automation tools and equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with analytical mindset
- Certification in Six Sigma or quality management systems is advantageous
