We are seeking a qualified and experienced Test Engineer to join the Manufacturing Test Operation team at IOT Manufacturing. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our test systems are optimized for maximum production efficiency and quality assurance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust testing strategies and implement solutions that drive operational excellence.
Your expertise will be vital in identifying defects, analyzing test data, and improving manufacturing processes to meet industry standards. You will be expected to take ownership of test fixtures, troubleshoot complex engineering issues, and ensure that all products meet rigorous quality specifications before they reach the customer. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain test fixtures, test stands, and automated test equipment (ATE) to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing test processes and implement improvements to increase throughput, reduce cycle time, and enhance yield rates.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to test systems, hardware failures, and software bugs in a manufacturing environment.
- Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and generate detailed reports on test data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for process enhancement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to define test requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintenance: Perform regular calibration, maintenance, and updates on manufacturing test systems to ensure accuracy, safety, and minimal downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including test procedures, SOPs, and engineering change notices.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar Test Engineer or QA role within the manufacturing or IoT sector, preferably in a production environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or LabVIEW; experience with test automation frameworks and instrumentation.
- Hardware Knowledge: Solid understanding of electronic circuit testing, IoT protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee), and embedded systems.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay (preferred).
- Tools: Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic test equipment.
