PERSOL is seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract in the Banking sector. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in quality assurance within a critical financial environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and performance of our banking software solutions. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a deep understanding of software testing methodologies. In this position, you will be responsible for validating complex banking applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality software that meets user expectations. You will work closely with product owners to understand requirements and provide feedback during the development lifecycle, ensuring a seamless user experience for all stakeholders.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for banking applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product managers.
- Document and track software defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to verify fixes and maintain system stability.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into test scenarios to cover all edge cases.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing, specifically within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and life cycles (SDLC/SDET).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is highly desirable.
