We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Test Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and production of cutting-edge semiconductor products.
As a Test Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test solutions for our product lines. You will work closely with design, product, and operations teams to ensure high-quality and cost-effective manufacturing. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our semiconductor devices, from initial characterization to high-volume production.
Key responsibilities include developing test programs and hardware, optimizing test coverage, reducing test time, and troubleshooting test-related issues. You will also support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring test readiness and providing technical support to manufacturing.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop test programs and hardware for semiconductor devices, including ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) platforms.
- Define and implement test strategies for new product introductions (NPI) to ensure smooth ramp-up to volume production.
- Optimize test coverage and reduce test time while maintaining high quality and yield.
- Troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues in manufacturing, including yield analysis and debug.
- Collaborate with design, product, and process engineering teams to characterize device performance and validate test solutions.
- Support manufacturing operations by providing technical guidance and developing test documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test efficiency, cost reduction, and overall product quality.
- Evaluate and introduce new test methodologies and equipment to keep pace with technology advancements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor test or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest, or similar) and test program development (C, C++, Python).
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, DFT (Design for Test), and yield analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis and problem-solving tools (e.g., Six Sigma, JMP, or Spotfire).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Self-motivated with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
- Ability to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang, with occasional support for shifts if needed.
