We are looking for a motivated and detailâoriented Testing Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join our O&M team based in Nibong Tebal, Penang. In this role, you will be at the heart of our renewable energy operations, ensuring that solar, wind, and hybrid installations perform at peak efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with field technicians, project managers, and engineering teams to execute commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance testing of electrical systems. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform electrical testing, commissioning, and performance verification of renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind, hybrid).
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on power conversion equipment, inverters, switchgear, and protection devices.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging cameras.
- Maintain accurate test records, technical reports, and compliance documentation in line with Malaysian standards.
- Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors to schedule testing activities and ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and ISO/OHSAS guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of handsâon experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or O&M of power systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics, singleâline diagrams, and wiring schedules.
- Familiarity with protection relays, inverters, and gridâconnection requirements is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Valid Malaysian driverâs license and willingness to travel to project sites across Penang and surrounding states.
