Systems on Silicon Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Thin Film PVD Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of our Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) equipment used in advanced semiconductor fabrication. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about precision engineering and process improvement to drive our production capabilities forward.
You will play a key role in ensuring high yield rates and equipment uptime by performing routine preventative maintenance and resolving complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with process engineers and cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and refine existing processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of PVD systems (Sputtering, Evaporation, or CVD) to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Analyze process data and yield metrics to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions to improve overall production quality.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering and R&D teams to develop, qualify, and transfer new thin film deposition processes to production lines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment history, maintenance logs, and process parameters in compliance with quality management systems.
- Monitor vacuum system performance, gas flow dynamics, and target consumable usage to minimize waste and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations within the cleanroom environment.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Thin Film PVD equipment maintenance, preferably within the semiconductor or MEMS industry.
- Strong working knowledge of PVD processes including magnetron sputtering, evaporation, and ion beam deposition techniques.
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, vacuum gauges, and other diagnostic test equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical schematics, drawings, and operating manuals.
