Tanggung Jawab
- Perform watchkeeping duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the engine room.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on main engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, and compressors.
- Monitor fuel and lube oil consumption, keeping accurate records in accordance with vessel logs.
- Assist in bunkering operations and ensure all environmental compliance procedures are strictly followed.
- Maintain the engine room in a clean, orderly, and safe condition at all times.
- Execute emergency drills and respond promptly to any mechanical or electrical failures on board.
- Ensure that all engine room equipment meets both class and flag state requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of Class III Marine Engineer Officer (or equivalent) Certificate of Competency.
- Previous experience working on Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs), Tugs, or AHTS vessels preferred.
- Strong understanding of marine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Valid STCW certificates and valid medical fitness certificate for sea service.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for effective communication with crew.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety culture and environmental regulations (MARPOL).
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
