In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting tools that directly support our high-precision production lines. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and manufacture cutting tools and fixtures based on customer-supplied data and technical drawings.
- Analyze production requirements and tooling performance to implement continuous improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of tooling prototypes to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and optimize tool life and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and process sheets.
- Maintain and update CAD/CAM models and tooling databases.
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations staff regarding tooling functionality and repair.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tool design, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Catia.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience with CAM software and CNC machining processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative engineering team.
