Join Amphenol Communications Solutions as a Toolmaker

We are currently looking for a talented Toolmaker to support our manufacturing operations at our Gul Circle facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of high-precision tools and dies that are essential for producing our industry-leading products.
As a Toolmaker, you will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure optimal tool performance, minimize downtime, and maintain the highest quality standards. You will perform machining, grinding, and assembly tasks to fabricate and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Your expertise will contribute directly to the efficiency and precision of our manufacturing processes.

Key aspects of the role include: interpreting technical drawings, programming and operating CNC machines, performing inspection using CMM and other instruments, and conducting preventive maintenance on tooling.

Tanggung Jawab
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools (milling, turning, grinding) to fabricate precision tools and dies
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for accurate production
- Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, CMM, and other precision instruments
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repair on tools and dies to ensure longevity and performance
- Collaborate with design engineers to enhance tooling designs and improve production efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of tool modifications, maintenance schedules, and inventory
- Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Troubleshoot tool-related issues during production and implement effective solutions
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or NITEC in Precision Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Toolmaker or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T symbols
- Hands-on experience with CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines
- Knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment processes, and surface coatings
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
