Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and ensure full compliance with customs laws, import/export regulations, and international trade policies.
- Prepare, verify, and process accurate customs documentation and shipping declarations for all shipments.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and relevant government agencies to expedite clearance processes.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on changing trade legislations, tariff classifications, and free trade agreement (FTA) requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive records of trade activities to ensure audit readiness at all times.
- Provide expert guidance to the logistics and procurement departments regarding trade-related documentation requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, or import/export operations.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian Customs regulations, HS Code classification, and SST/Duty exemption procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume retail environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
