Lalco Trading Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Trade Finance Associate to join our dynamic team located in the heart of Singapore's business district at Great World City. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in facilitating our international trade operations by managing complex documentation, coordinating with banking institutions, and ensuring the seamless flow of financial transactions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical support in the end-to-end trade finance cycle, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and documentary collections. You will work closely with our logistics and trading desks to mitigate financial risks and optimize cash flow. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the preparation, verification, and presentation of trade finance documentation (L/Cs, Bills of Exchange, and Bank Guarantees).
- Coordinate closely with internal trading desks and external banks to ensure timely execution of trade settlements.
- Perform daily reconciliation of trade finance accounts and monitor credit limits.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, international trade regulations, and UCP600/ISP98 standards.
- Maintain and update filing systems for all trade-related financial records and correspondence.
- Support the senior management team in reporting on cash flow and trade risk exposures.
- Resolve discrepancies in shipping documents and liaise with freight forwarders or suppliers when necessary.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Trade Finance, Banking, or Commodity Trading operations.
- Strong understanding of ICC rules (UCP600, ISBP, Incoterms 2020).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiar with ERP software.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle high-volume documentation accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict bank presentation deadlines.
