Are you an experienced Trade Operations professional with a strong background in Letter of Credit documentation? Adecco is partnering with a leading organization in the Central Region to find a dedicated Trade Operations Executive (Letter of Credit) to join their dynamic team.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in the international supply chain, ensuring the smooth processing of trade transactions from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of LC documentation, compliance with UCP 600 guidelines, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders including banks, shipping lines, and suppliers.
As a Trade Operations Executive, your keen eye for detail will be crucial in verifying shipping documents, handling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records. Your expertise in Incoterms and international trade regulations will directly contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our client's global trade operations. In this role, you will be responsible for processing Letters of Credit, ensuring strict adherence to UCP 600 standards, and coordinating the timely flow of documentation for international shipments. - Prepare, review, and process all documentation related to Letters of Credit (LC), ensuring full compliance with UCP 600 regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal logistics teams to manage international shipment schedules.
- Verify and approve shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Liaise directly with advising and issuing banks to negotiate LC discrepancies and facilitate timely payment.
- Manage Import and Export declarations, ensuring adherence to customs regulations and Incoterms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the trade finance ERP system and physical filing systems.
- Support the Trade Operations Manager with ad-hoc reports, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Trade Operations, Import/Export, or LC Documentation.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP 600).
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in document checking and data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of transactions.
- Familiarity with Singapore Customs regulations and international trade compliance is highly advantageous.
