Are you a detail-oriented Finance professional looking to drive commercial growth at Barefood? We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Spend Controller / Commercial Controller to join our team in Tangerang. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our commercial finance operations, ensuring accuracy in trade spend management, billing, and accounts receivable.
As our Commercial Controller, you will bridge the gap between sales and finance. Your primary mandate will be to streamline distributor claim processes, ensure precise billing, and maintain a healthy cash flow through diligent credit control. If you possess a sharp analytical mind, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, we want to hear from you.
At Barefood, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our trade partnerships and contributing to the sustainable profitability of our expanding commercial operations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and audit distributor claims to ensure alignment with trade spend agreements and company policies.
- Oversee the end-to-end billing cycle, ensuring timely issuance of invoices and Credit Notes (CN).
- Conduct proactive Credit Control and Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-ups to minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Perform reconciliation of commercial accounts and resolve discrepancies with sales teams and external partners.
- Monitor trade spend budget utilization and provide analytical reports to the management team.
- Support month-end closing activities for AR and revenue-related journals.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Logistics departments to ensure seamless documentation and financial compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Commercial Finance, AR/Billing, or Trade Spend control.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling).
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local accounting software).
- Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (VAT, Withholding Tax) related to commercial transactions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle sensitive payment/dispute issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
