Tanggung Jawab
- Translate a wide range of documents, including technical manuals, reports, emails, and presentations, from Japanese to English and vice versa.
- Perform professional interpretation during meetings, conferences, and site visits to ensure seamless communication.
- Proofread and edit translated content to ensure grammatical accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Assist in the localization of company software, marketing materials, and internal communications.
- Maintain and update translation glossaries and terminology databases to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand context and meet specific translation requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language, Translation, or a related field.
- Native or near-native fluency in both Japanese (N1 or N2 level preferred) and English.
- Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Familiarity with Computer-Aided Translation (CAT) tools is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
