Our client, Xinyi Energy Smart (M) Sdn Bhd, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport / Logistics Manager to join their growing team in Klang. As a key player in the manufacturing industry, efficient logistics and supply chain management are vital to our operations. In this influential role, you will take charge of the end-to-end transport operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of materials and finished goods to Port Klang and beyond.
The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic logistics plans to optimize routes, reduce operational costs, and ensure timely delivery. You will lead a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all daily transportation and logistics operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.
- Develop and implement cost-effective transportation strategies, including route planning and load optimization to minimize fuel consumption.
- Manage fleet maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles comply with strict safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate closely with production and sales teams to align logistics activities with business demands.
- Liaise with customs authorities and port agents at Port Klang to facilitate efficient import/export processes.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to prepare reports and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with local transport laws, environmental standards, and company safety policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Transport or Logistics Management role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong working knowledge of local transport regulations, customs procedures, and safety standards in Malaysia.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Proficiency in logistics management software, ERP systems, and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency.
- Valid driving license and a professional approach to operational safety.
