In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end transportation and customs clearance processes, ensuring seamless operations that meet our high standards of efficiency and compliance.
As the Operations Manager, you will act as the bridge between our shipping clients and regulatory bodies. You will manage a team of logistics professionals, streamline customs brokerage procedures, and optimize supply chain workflows to reduce costs and delivery lead times. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage daily transport operations and customs brokerage workflows to ensure timely cargo delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of logistics coordinators and operations staff.
- Ensure full compliance with Philippine Customs laws, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations, and international shipping standards.
- Analyze operational data and logistics reports to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and government agencies to resolve shipping discrepancies and delays.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for transport and documentation.
- Manage client relationships by providing updates on shipment status and addressing logistics inquiries professionally.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in Transport Operations or Customs Brokerage, preferably in the moving and logistics industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and import/export regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Professional Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is an advantage.
