Join our maritime team as a Tugboat Mechan specializing in Yanmar and Mitsubishi engines. This critical role involves comprehensive vessel inspection, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs to ensure operational excellence. You'll maintain critical propulsion systems while preparing detailed technical reports for management review. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on Yanmar and Mitsubishi propulsion systems
- Diagnose mechanical failures and execute emergency repairs at sea or in dock
- Overhaul engine components including fuel injectors, turbochargers, and cooling systems
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and technical documentation for compliance
- Collaborate with deck crews to optimize vessel operational efficiency
- Adhere to SOLAS regulations and environmental safety protocols
- Coordinate with parts procurement team for critical component sourcing
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3 years experience with marine diesel engines, preferably Yanmar/Mitsubishi
- Valid certification in marine mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and engine management systems
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis abilities
- Valid seafarer certification and basic first aid training preferred
