Paves Technologies is currently seeking an experienced TWS / Tivoli Workload Scheduler Engineer to join our dynamic IT operations team on a contract basis. This is an urgent requirement for a specialist who can ensure the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our workload automation infrastructure. You will play a critical role in managing complex job scheduling environments, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, and optimizing batch processing workflows to meet business-critical timelines.
As part of our technical team, you will be responsible for end-to-end automation strategies, working closely with cross-functional departments to streamline production cycles. We are looking for a proactive professional with 3–5 years of hands-on experience who thrives in high-pressure environments and is eager to contribute to the robust stability of our regional IT ecosystem.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain complex scheduling scripts and automation workflows using TWS/IBM Workload Scheduler.
- Proactively monitor batch processing performance and resolve job failures or scheduling conflicts to ensure SLA compliance.
- Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and patch deployments for the TWS environment.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams to troubleshoot integration issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of scheduling logic, standard operating procedures, and incident recovery plans.
- Participate in performance tuning activities to optimize throughput and reduce processing latency.
- Execute rigorous testing protocols for new job deployments within UAT and Production environments.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience specifically focused on TWS / Tivoli Workload Scheduler administration.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, or Perl) for automation tasks.
- In-depth understanding of batch processing cycles and enterprise workload automation concepts.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract-based engagement with minimal supervision.
