Tanggung Jawab
- Inspect and grade raw logs upon arrival to ensure they meet procurement specifications.
- Monitor veneer production processes to maintain optimal thickness, moisture content, and surface quality.
- Conduct regular quality audits across production lines to identify and rectify process bottlenecks.
- Maintain detailed documentation of quality control reports and non-conformance records.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train machine operators on quality standards and handling procedures to reduce wood degradation.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry-standard manufacturing regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma in Wood Science, Forestry, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-4 years) in a timber, plywood, or veneer manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of wood species, log grading, and wood defects.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and quality control software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on defect prevention and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills in Malay and English.
