Samindo Resources is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vessel Maintenance Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Jakarta Selatan. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end maintenance, repair, and dry-docking activities of our maritime fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and peak performance.
As our technical authority on-site, you will lead maintenance planning and execution, manage vendor relationships, and ensure that all vessels adhere to strict industry regulations and internal quality standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all vessel maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime.
- Manage dry-docking projects, including scheduling, budget control, and technical specifications.
- Conduct regular vessel inspections to ensure compliance with maritime safety standards and classification requirements.
- Monitor and analyze machinery performance, troubleshooting technical issues to provide efficient solutions.
- Manage relationships with shipyards, service providers, and spare parts suppliers to optimize costs.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation and vessel records are accurately updated in the maintenance management system.
- Coordinate with onboard crew and operational teams to ensure a high standard of vessel operational readiness.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related maritime discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a vessel maintenance or technical superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of vessel class society rules, statutory regulations, and SOLAS/MARPOL requirements.
- Proven expertise in managing dry-docking operations and shipyard negotiations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional technical teams.
- Proficiency in computer-based maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
