In this critical role, you will lead the business analysis function for our life insurance technology portfolio, driving the delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and innovative technology, working closely with senior executives across Underwriting, Claims, Distribution, and IT. Your vision and leadership will directly shape the future of our customer experience and operational excellence in Singapore.
As a key member of the HSBC Life leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of talented Business Analysts, championing best practices in requirements management, process modelling, and data analysis. You will drive end-to-end project lifecycles, from strategic feasibility studies through to successful implementation and post-launch optimization. This role offers a unique platform to influence the digital transformation agenda of one of the world's largest banking and financial services organizations.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the business analysis strategy for HSBC Life’s technology portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with senior stakeholders (Underwriting, Claims, Distribution, Finance) to define, prioritize, and manage complex business requirements.
- Drive the full project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies and business case development through to solution delivery, testing, and post-implementation review.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts, fostering a high-performance culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Champion digital transformation by leveraging data analytics, AI, and automation to optimize customer journeys and operational efficiency.
- Establish and enforce best practices in requirements documentation, process modeling (AS-IS/TO-BE), and stakeholder communication.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support critical business decisions.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant portion in Life Insurance or Wealth Management within a financial institution.
- Proven leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and scale high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of Life Insurance products, processes (e.g., New Business, Underwriting, Claims), and the regulatory landscape in Singapore.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience presenting to C-suite and VP-level audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or relevant Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and process modelling tools (e.g., Visio, Signavio, ARIS).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
