Role Overview
Bank of America is seeking a highly skilled Vice President, Senior Trade Voice Engineer to join our Employee Experience Technology division in Singapore. This is a critical leadership and technical role responsible for the end-to-end engineering, operational excellence, and strategic lifecycle management of our mission-critical Trader Voice (Turret) platforms across regional trading floors.
As a senior member of the infrastructure team, you will act as a primary technical authority, ensuring that our high-frequency trading environments possess the most reliable and innovative communication tools available. You will be tasked with modernizing legacy voice infrastructure, driving the adoption of cloud-based voice solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with our global unified communications strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead large-scale regional projects while working at the intersection of high-finance and cutting-edge telecommunications technology.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pressures associated with trading floor environments and a proven track record of maintaining zero-downtime voice services for high-stakes business units.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the architectural design, implementation, and lifecycle management of Trader Voice platforms (e.g., IPC Unigy, BT Trading) across APAC trading hubs.
- Act as the regional subject matter expert (SME) for all Turret-related technologies and integrated voice recording solutions.
- Oversee complex technical migrations and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to active trading activities.
- Partner with global engineering teams to standardize configurations and implement best-in-class security protocols.
- Manage vendor relationships with key providers like IPC, BT, and Cloud9 to ensure high service availability and project alignment.
- Drive automation and monitoring initiatives to proactively identify and resolve voice latency or connectivity issues.
- Ensure compliance with stringent financial regulatory requirements regarding voice recording and data retention (e.g., NICE, Verint).
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and operations staff within the regional team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related Engineering discipline.
- At least 10+ years of professional experience in Trade Voice or Unified Communications within a major global financial institution.
- Expert-level proficiency in IPC Unigy, BT Netrix, or equivalent Trader Voice systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of SIP, VoIP protocols, networking, and low-latency infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with compliant Voice Recording systems (NICE Trading Recording, Verba).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects in a fast-paced investment banking environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, Avaya, or vendor-specific Turret certifications).
