Join the dynamic team at CMA CGM, a world leader in shipping and logistics, as a VIE Container Fleet Maintenance and Repair Specialist based in Singapore. As part of the Regional Office Asia (ARO), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal condition of our vast container fleet. We are looking for a detail-oriented technical professional to manage the maintenance lifecycle, ensuring safety standards and operational efficiency across our extensive network. Your role involves close collaboration with the Container Fleet Technical Manager to monitor fleet health, execute repairs, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance protocols. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated engineering graduate to gain international experience in a top-tier maritime company.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the technical management and repair of the container fleet, ensuring compliance with international standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to schedule and execute necessary repairs, including dry-docking and re-crating.
- Analyze maintenance reports and technical data to identify trends, implement preventive measures, and reduce operational downtime.
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts and materials to guarantee timely maintenance activities.
- Liaise with the Container Fleet Technical Manager to report fleet health status and recommend strategic improvements.
Kualifikasi
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
- Eligibility to hold a VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) contract.
- Basic knowledge of container handling equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
