Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for various engineering and construction projects.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, proposals, and other documentation to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients (primarily Australian) via virtual communication tools.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to develop detailed breakdowns of materials, labor, and equipment.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks, providing recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough records of estimates, bids, and project data for future reference and analysis.
- Participate in virtual project meetings to discuss estimates, clarify details, and answer technical questions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, material costs, and best practices in estimation.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project lifecycles.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, CostX) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective remote collaboration with an Australian client base.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced virtual setting.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
- A stable internet connection and a professional, dedicated home office setup are essential.
