Matahari Department Store, one of Indonesia's leading retail powerhouses, is looking for a dynamic Visual Merchandising Supervisor to join our team in Sorong, Papua Barat. In this role, you will be the creative force behind our store's floor presentation, ensuring that every display not only looks exceptional but directly contributes to driving foot traffic and achieving our sales targets.
You will lead the implementation of corporate visual standards, coach the store team on merchandising best practices, and analyze consumer behavior to optimize product placement. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement compelling visual merchandising displays that reflect brand standards and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure all floor sets, window displays, and point-of-purchase materials are executed with precision and impact.
- Partner with the Store Manager and operations team to align display strategies with sales targets and inventory levels.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs to maintain store grooming standards and ensure compliance with planograms.
- Analyze sales data and customer flow to optimize product layouts and increase conversion rates.
- Train and supervise store associates on maintenance, product folding, and replenishment techniques.
- Manage the ordering and inventory of VM props and marketing collateral.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail display management.
- Strong understanding of retail trends, color theory, and interior space planning.
- Proficient in MS Office; creative design software skills (Adobe Suite) are a plus.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively mentor team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing seasonal demands.
