United Overseas Bank (UOB) is seeking a visionary VP2 Domain Architect to join our Global Markets and Enterprise Technology (GMET) division. As a pivotal leader in our architecture team, you will shape the strategic roadmap for our Trade and Supply Chain Finance platforms. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge technical execution, ensuring our digital infrastructure remains agile, scalable, and secure.
In this role, you will define architecture standards, oversee the integration of emerging financial technologies, and drive the modernization of our core banking services. The ideal candidate possesses deep domain expertise in trade finance workflows and a proven track record of designing high-throughput, mission-critical banking systems within large-scale financial institutions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Define and maintain the domain architecture roadmap for Trade and Supply Chain Finance products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business initiatives into robust, scalable technical solutions.
- Establish design patterns and architectural standards for cloud-native integration and API-first development.
- Lead the evaluation of new technologies, including DLT, AI-driven automation, and real-time payment frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with UOB's internal security, risk, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and architectural consistency.
- Provide technical leadership during complex cross-platform migrations and system integration projects.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years specifically within Trade Finance or Supply Chain Finance.
- Expertise in designing distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Deep understanding of trade finance instruments (L/Cs, Guarantees, Receivables Finance) and SWIFT messaging standards.
- Proven experience with modern integration technologies (Kafka, RESTful APIs, Event-Driven Architecture).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders across a matrix organization.
- Professional certification in TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks is highly preferred.
